ABOUT

I wasn't having a lot of luck when trying to find Armenian books for my 1-year-old daughter. I wanted her to become familiar with the Armenian language -- the look and sound of it -- from an early age. Books I eventually found didn't have the kinds of things I would typically look for in a children's book -- a brief uplifting story or a story that delivers a message, kid-friendly illustrations, durability (board books vs. paper books), and most importantly in some cases, Armenian text.
Kids Reading Armenian was born to fill this gap. Our goal is to provide entertaining board books that are written in Armenian for 0-3 year olds, in order to encourage adoption of the Armenian language from an early age.
My daughter sits in her room and flips through dozens of board books on her own. Kids Reading Armenian makes it possible for some of those to be Armenian books, kickstarting the process of her carrying forward the Armenian language for generations to come.
